Many factors affect the popularity of TV shows, such as the quality of the content, the genre, the target audience, the marketing strategy, the critical reception, the word of mouth, and the availability of the show on different platforms. Some TV shows may appeal to a large and diverse audience, while others may cater to a specific niche or demographic. Some TV shows may have a loyal fan base that follows the show for many seasons, while others may attract new viewers with their novelty or innovation. Some TV shows may benefit from positive reviews and awards, while others may rely on social media buzz and viral marketing.
So when you really think about it, there is no definitive answer to why some TV shows are most popular/watched, as different shows may have different strengths and weaknesses, and different viewers may have different preferences and tastes. However, by analyzing the factors mentioned above, one may get a better understanding of the factors that influence the ratings and popularity of TV shows.
